What we are going to do with Eczema?


Eczema can happen to anyone at any ages throughout his or her lives. The exact cause of eczema is unknown, but it’s thought to be linked to an overactive response by the body’s immune system to an irritant. Eczema is commonly found in families with history of other allergies or asthma too.

The standard treatments made with hydrocortisone steroids can quickly relieve itching and reduce inflammation. But the down side for lengthy use will be in result of thinning you skin. Therefore, if you can help it, just to use the hydrocortisone steroids for extreme situation, while you are using diet, lifestyle to help to calm down the eczema. As soon as the eczema calmed down from flare out, then you should consider stopping the steroids cream treatment and use other products to maintain your eczema in a manageable condition.

Like myself from time to time I do suffer eczema, but as soon as it appears, I use my own remedies to control it before it flare up. Therefore I never have to use the steroids cream which I do keep it at home just in case.

Our lifestyle, diet and stress can be the main contributor for our eczema. You can find some information below can help you to combat or deal with eczema.

What we eat can cause the eczema flared up. Some studies show that these might make eczema worse; especially for babies and children. They are peanuts, milk, soy, wheat, gluten, fish and eggs are the most common culprits.

The type of foods to eat to treat eczema will be food contains flaxseed oil, food with fatty acids, pumpkin or chia seeds, probiotic rich foods like goat’s milk.

There are ways to help eczema to stop itching by soak in warm bath or take a shower regularly and then moisturize immediately afterward. You can consider adding oatmeal, baking soda, vinegar or salt to your bath water can help to calm specific symptoms of eczema too.

Unfortunately there is no cure for fully developed eczema. We can only consider using treatments to heal the affected skin and prevent flare up symptoms. For those who want to cover up your eczema, make sure you are using the cream based concealer and pick ones that include shea butter, glycerin or lanolin.

For me, my eczema comes and goes over the years, but I learnt to notice and take action at the early stage, using my remedies to control it before it flare out. Through my diet and detoxing, my eczema is well under control over the years.
