Communication is one of the most important part of our lives from the moment we are born to the date we end. It is how we learn things in our lives, without communication life would be extremely difficult for us.

There are two ways to have communication. Communicate with yourself or communicate with others ………

Communicate with yourself:

There are lots of disadvantages and very little advantages this way.

Communicate with yourself either vocally or in your own thoughts. But be careful when you communicate with yourself vocally, just make sure no one else is around. Otherwise people might think you are crazy ! Communicating with your own thoughts, is kind of day dreaming in a sense. You can in fact write down what you think; plan, schedule tasks and set goals. But you have no way to obtain any opinions or feedback from this way.

Longer periods without communicating with others will create shyness, fear and insecurity within yourself. Worse still, you are the only person to drive yourself into any action.

Communicate with others:

There are lots of advantages and very little disadvantages this way.

Communicating with others can always remove that word 'loneliness' from your daily life. There are different ways to communicate with other people. The modern way is online and the traditional way is face to face or voice calls.

Regular communication will gradually improve your shyness, fear and you will become more and more confident in yourself. By communicating with others you can gain feedback, exchange knowledge and experience so that you can improve yourself. Most importantly, others will help and encourage you to take action.

When you are in the sales & marketing sector, communication plays a very important role towards your success.

Selling products:

If you don’t communicate well with your customers, no one will buy from you, in fact no one will not even know what you can do for them. Communicating with your prospects and customers, our industry word is called ‘follow up’. Follow up communication can count for as much as 80% of the sales. Therefore learning how to communicate is very important, so build yourself a habit of communicating with people, otherwise, you will find it very difficult.

Leading a sales team:

Your communication with your team will determine a close bond with your team. It is called ‘Team Work’. Everyone can call themselves a leader, but they must learn how to communicate with their team members. Behave and communicate with your team members just like you would with your children. The more communication you have with your team, the more they feel safe and supported.

Communication with your team regularly is important, but you also have to understand how to help your team members to create a good communication network with others too.

Set up a 3 way group call / message between yourself, your downline and their downline or product customer.

This must set up in the very early stage between all parties and ensure you edify each other from the outset. Discuss and support any questions and queries. Give assurances to downlines or product customers that this 3 way group call / message is their own support line. They will feel comfortable, secure and supported by knowing that they can always go back to his group to seek help.

Set up group call / message between yourself, your downline and other team members in your downline nearby area.

You can select any downline, sideline or even cross lines who live near each other to join the group call / message. Edify each other from the outset and make them aware that because they live near to each other, they can be each others work buddy. They can have their own regular chat or meetings to exchange experience, take challenges and encourage each other along the way.

Both communication methods will soon be duplicated throughout your network. You will soon enjoy the benefits from this to create some extra free time for yourself, because you are kind of delegating and letting your downline get used to working and communicating with others. You will soon only chair the group and monitor their communication, so that you can let them grow in their own direction with your supervision.

During all these process of communication and your involvement with others, you will soon become a good communicator yourself with full self confidence. Success will become reality as long as you keep at it and never give up.
